biography •
n8 is 34 and was born and fed on Kansas beef, corn and the like. Currently a resident of Topeka, he grew up in a small town nearby.
n8 graduated high school in 1997 and headed to Lawrence with a scholarship to study art. He graduated from KU in 2001 with a BFA in design, majoring in illustration. n8 has done some illustration work for local and regional publications as well as for a national bestselling author. n8 also started a very small business where he sold "n8-ville" merchandise. Every now and then he’ll exhibit in galleries, bars, coffee shops, alleyways, and so on. He also trades his artwork for other services like haircuts, tattoos, and food.
Currently n8 works for Mackin Educational Resources, a book bindery located in Topeka. The company buys paperback books and rebinds them as hardbacks to sell to libraries. n8 works in the graphics department. During the evening hours he freelances.
